award winning garden design
From the early stage of launching Rocky Bay Garden Creations in January of 2016, I realized that design was my calling. I put my heart and soul into each new project, and my growing passion for all things green is reflected by my varied portfolio. I enjoy creating individual potted plant vessels, but putting my vision all together in one cohesive design is even more exciting!
In order to show one of my visions, I decided to enter into the 2017 Northwest Flower & Garden show 'city-living' gardens. It was a wonderful experience getting such nice feedback from visitors and other professionals alike. My goal of getting people inspired to create a fresh new look for their small outdoor space turned out to be great success. My design for the city-living gardens received the following 3 out of 5 available awards;
*Best use of plant material
Karen Chapman, author of "Fine Foliage" and "Foliage First" wrote this fabulous blog post "creating sanctuary" about my design. It features many pictures and useful tips about creating your own sanctuary.
